Project Lead It Forward

The Scottsdale Leadership Class 38 “Family Promise Team” has been tasked with taking an underutilized outdoor space and redesigning it into an outdoor social lounge area for families and children. This outdoor social lounge will provide families the space and comfort to play games, lounge, and socialize in an area uniquely designed for engagement and fellowship.

The space behind the ‘7447’ is what we’re working with

We are fundraising to sponsor the following for this outdoor space:

  • Sport court flooring

  • Astroturf seating area

  • Pavers on the adult lounge area

  • Installing pavers to create a path into the adult lounge area

  • Lighting placed low to light the ground and path

  • Gates with codes on both sides of the entrance

  • Affirmation mural on the interior wall to brighten up the space

  • Moveable seating for Astroturf and adult lounge area

  • Yard games (corn hole, connect 4, Jenga)

  • Seating upstairs for parents to be able to watch their children play
